Overview:

The Toughbook Mobility Territory Account Manager (South East – FL/AR/LA) is responsible for driving revenue growth across key vertical markets including Warehouse Automation, Automotive Service Bay, Manufacturing, Field Service, and Field Sales Optimization.

 

In this role, you will establish collaborative partnerships between clients, Panasonic, and an ecosystem of Value-Added Resellers (VARs), third-party product vendors, and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to deliver meaningful value to customers across the territory. We strongly prefer candidates who reside in Florida and bring demonstrated experience in solution-based selling methodologies such as Korn Ferry, Challenger, MEDDIC, Sandler, or equivalent frameworks.

Responsibilities:

Scope

  • Responsible for achieving a defined revenue target within the territory from end users and partners in the Enterprise vertical (South East region and assigned strategic accounts).

 

Value Proposition and Customer Engagement

  • Communicate the Panasonic Connect value proposition — Why Panasonic — through engaging presentations and consultative meetings, leading with solutions rather than hardware while developing and facilitating customer relationships and creating opportunities within territory accounts.
  • Make customer satisfaction a principal goal in the territory; host quarterly key customer reviews and strategy sessions with all top Panasonic accounts.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting

  • Provide timely, accurate, and complete sales reports and forecasts, and maintain updated sales opportunities in Salesforce for accurate forecasting across the executive team, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
  • Analyze each sales opportunity to develop accurate forecasts of products and services.

Business Development

  • Expand Panasonic's footprint by identifying and closing new prospects, including surfacing new products and solutions to address increasingly complex industry demands.

Account Management

  • Serve as the account manager for tablet and laptop projects from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customers, key partners (VARs and ISVs), and internal Panasonic resources including Professional Services, Project Management, Field Engineering, Software Solutions, Supply Chain, and Senior Management.

 

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related discipline; relevant job-related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of documented outside sales experience in a similar industry, with a proven track record of year-over-year revenue growth.
  • Proven success managing reseller and end-user relationships at all levels, including C-suite contacts.
  • Experience selling technology products and services, with working knowledge of mobile computing products and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline management discipline, with the ability to communicate its value to partner management and sales teams.
  • Familiarity with solution-based selling methodologies (e.g., Korn Ferry, Challenger, MEDDIC, Sandler) strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
  • Understanding of company cultures and professional networks for resolving issues aligned with Panasonic's Basic Business Principles.
  • Ability to articulate product portfolios and their connectivity within a broader solution.
  • Up to 75% travel required.

The salary range listed below is just one component of Panasonic's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. *The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
