Job Summary
This is a part-time, remote position. Starting at 5 hours per week, and growing from there. Our rapidly growing company is looking to hire a graphic designer who is an organized, creative person with a dance/performing arts background. (Please note, 75% of this job entails designing in Canva, so strong design skills, creativity and extensive Canva use is required)

Ideally, this candidate will be:

  • Proficient in Canva Pro: able to create new ideas, not just use Canva templates
  • Knowledge of basic design skills: color theory, font pairing, photo editing
  • Basic video/editing for videos + reels
  • Has knowledge of social media channels: up to date on trends, has creative ideas for content
  • Have a dance background, since most of our content involves dancers
  • Pays attention to detail while creating designs and copy
  • Is organized and a hard worker
  • Is self-motivated
  • Experience with Flodesk, Google Drive, META business Suite, Squarespace, Pinterest are a plus
  • Is eager to learn about this industry and takes direction well.
  • Good designer with cute and fun style. Knows basics of design elements and can make designs pop.
  • Ability to think outside of the box and take initiative on projects. Looking for someone who is efficient and pays attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills

What to expect:

  • Creativity & organization
  • Lots of designing in Canva, creating flyers, newsletters, social media posts, etc.
  • Helping brainstorm & execute content ideas and keep a consistent posting schedule.
  • Keeping up with consistency in email marketing to our clients and members.
  • Staying on top of trends and updates within the social media world
  • Light management/check-ins with FB & IG groups
  • Editing reels & scheduling posts
  • Eventually creating pins for Pinterest. And uploading products to our online shop
  • Background in dance is a plus
  • Looking to start at 5 hours per week, but definitely potential to grow for the right person.
