Summary:

Here at Obscura MFG we manufacture guitar effects pedals. We provide the top effects pedal builders with high quality enclosures. We machine, powder coat and print all in house. We are looking to add an experienced production assistant to our team. This person needs to be able to fully operate and maintain CNC machines and powder coat system. We will provided basic training to effectively operate these machines.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC Machine
  • Prep parts for powder coating
  • Adhere to QC standards
  • Keep coating equipment keep and in proper working order
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Meet our team goals
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Help in other areas if needed

Daily Activities

  • Start all necessary equipment
  • Manage daily work orders
  • Prep enclosures for coating
  • Correctly coat and bake Orders
  • Provide the team with assistance if needed.
  • Clean up work area and equipment

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read work orders
  • Must be able to meet team goals
  • Must be able to take direction and work as a team
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Must be able to follow QC Standards
  • Must have effective communication skills
  • Must have attention to detail and strive for quality

Compensation: $14.00 and up, depending on experience

Job Type: Part Time

Schedule:

  • 9-5 hour shift - Schedule is flexible for the right person.
  • Day shift
  • Evenings, Weekends, Flexible

Must Have Reliable Transportation

  • We are located in Lenoir NC 28645

Experience:

  • Prefer 1-2 years experience
  • Will consider a hobbyist / enthusiast as long as you have hands-on experience and have an eye for quality.
  • Providing examples of your work is a plus

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
