Senior Group Product Manager Are you: A Time & Labor Expert with extensive experience in time management, scheduling, punch/time collection Passionate about building products and features that impact the daily lives of your users? Coming together to build solutions is what makes Paylocity an exciting place to work! Our product management group focuses on our customers to guide the product lifecycle. Product Managers (PMs) rank problems to solve and verify customer impact. They work with designers on prototypes that get validated by users and stakeholders. PMs collaborate with the engineering team to deliver and iterate on solutions. We're looking for a Sr. Group Product Manager (Sr. GPM) to lead PMs working on our Time & Labor solutions including time management, scheduling, punching in/out. The GPM will coach their team to develop a vision for each of their products. Aligning with stakeholders and collaborating with Product peers are critical in this role. During the first six months at Paylocity, you'll: Help your PMs define long-term strategies, outcomes, and success metrics Build domain knowledge and competitive intelligence in the product areas your PMs operate Drive transparency, collaboration, and the pressure testing of ideas within your team Work with your PMs to evangelize and gain buy-in on their vision with VP/Directors Remove roadblocks, and surface and mitigate short-term risks Make opportunity/cost/resource trade-offs with guidance from leadership Stay connected with engineering leaders on vision, timelines, risks, and team dynamics Stay connected with design leadership on design needs, priorities, timelines, and long-term vision In your past roles, you've: Gained 8+ years of experience in product management in agile development environments Shown your passion for developing PMs at varying stages of their careers Demonstrated your customer-focused, outcome-driven, and data-driven mindset Developed product vision and strategy by working backwards from the customer Successfully guided a product's lifecycle through strategic and creative thinking Demonstrated your excellent analytical, organizational, written and oral communication skills Been successful interfacing with both technical and non-technical people Juggled competing priorities Influenced and aligned many areas of the business around a common goal Communicated product strategies to senior leaders and gotten buy-in on the path forward Built operational excellence within your team Reported on progress in monthly business reviews while surfacing any necessary adjustments Used metrics to deep-dive into issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns Worked in Human Capital Management (HCM) at a SaaS provider (preferred) Paylocity is an equal-opportunity employer. The pay range for this position is $154,500- $286,900/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
