<h2>What you will do</h2> <ul> <li><p>Responsible for preparing vendor contracts by incorporating the associated vendor budget and scope of work into the standard contract templates and submitting to vendor for approval.</p> </li> <li><p>Review contract documents for accuracy and technical completeness.</p> </li> <li><p>Compose, proof read, edit and prepare correspondence using MS Word.</p> </li> <li><p>Manage the contract approval/execution process, document all required approvals including legal and management authorizations.</p> </li> <li><p>Manage and track vendor contracts and supporting documentation.</p> </li> <li><p>Document deviations from policies, business processes, and standard operating procedures.</p> </li> <li><p>Assist Director of Contracts in secondary negotiations.</p> </li> <li><p>Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.</p> </li> <li><p>Handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.</p> </li> <li><p>Ensure departmental and office content on SharePoint is monitored and updated.</p> </li> <li><p>Work on related projects as needed and update manager on status of projects.</p> </li> <li><p>Must work in a team environment and communicate with the other U.S. and international offices.</p> </li> <li><p>Perform other duties as assigned. The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.</p> </li> </ul> <h2>What you will bring to the role</h2> <ul> <li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail are essential.</p> </li> <li><p>Ability to work independently under supervision.</p> </li> <li><p>Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously; flexible and able to use sound independent judgment and take initiative to assess information and anticipate needs.</p> </li> <li><p>Ability to interact in a diplomatic and professional manner required.</p> </li> <li><p>Proven history of resourcefulness.</p> </li> <li><p>Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes.</p> </li> <li><p>Strong organizational and technical skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet research.</p> </li> <li><p>Capability to assist in the negotiation of legal and financial terms.</p> </li> <li><p>Data analysis / presentation an advantage.</p> </li> <li><p>Process improvement and facilitation experience would be an advantage.</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Your Experience</h2> <ul> <li><p>CRO experience is strongly preferred.</p> </li> <li><p>2-4 years working in vendor contracts administration.</p> </li> <li><p>2+ years in vendor contract negotiations.</p> </li> <li><p>Extensive redline experience required.</p> </li> <li><p>Experience redlining vendor contracts such as central labs, printing, leases, and software licensing experience.</p> </li> <li><p>Bachelor's degree required.</p> </li> </ul>
