This role is estimated to be approximately 10 hours/week.</p><p></p><p>The Part-time Director, Fundraising will report to the Partner, Teach Minnesota Teaching Fellows (TMTF) and collaborate closely with the TMTF team, the national fundraising team, and other key partners across the organization. You have an ability to connect and build relationships with diverse communities.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications and Experiences:</b></p><ul><li><p>More than five years of fundraising experience with demonstrated success garnering private philanthropic support, preferably in education or public policy on a national level, and at least 1-2 years of experience developing and leading fundraising strategy.</p></li><li><p>Experience with multiple areas of fundraising including foundation, corporation, individual, and planned giving.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of the full process of securing philanthropic revenue, including funder identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience developing new sources of revenue to support growth and impact.</p></li><li><p>Self-reliant, results-oriented problem-solving skills, including the ability to critically assess challenges and identify effective solutions and proactive steps forward even in ambiguous situations.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional writing ability, including experience developing successful grant applications, proposals, concept papers, LOIs and progress narratives.</p></li><li><p><span>Superior communication skills with a proven ability to invest others, engage staff and donors, and influence outcomes.</span></p></li><li><p>Evidence of strong cross-team collaboration skills and the ability to manage up to senior leadership, <span>while also inviting and respecting diverse perspectives and fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture. </span> </p></li><li><p>Familiarity with issues, research, policy, and best practices in K-12 education.</p></li><li><p>Excellent organizational and project management skills.</p></li><li><p>High emotional intelligence, strong listening skills, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. </p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>What We Offer</b></h2><p>TNTP offers a competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience in a similar position. The compensation rate for this role is <b>$60.00</b> per hour. TNTP offers a motivated team of dynamic colleagues, a collegial atmosphere that values professional development and valuable feedback, and the chance to impact the direction of a growing, mission-driven company that is committed to the success of our nation’s children.
